Classic to iPod Video Project
Welcome to what is the new home page for the status and future release of the Classic look to iPod Video project. This project has been in progress for about 3 weeks, and has made some great progress. The project is based out of this thread on iPodWizard.net.
The Project: To mimic the iPod 6G (Classic) firmware as closely as possible using a 5G/5.5G video iPod.
Current/Former Developers: supernatural, saXas, vettefan, matthew98, H3X, bounci.rabbit.123, myself (xxDriveNxx).
Status:
Completed items-
- Left aligned menus.
- Full screen Now Playing/games.
- Correctly aligned text/battery/Play-Pause icons.
- Now Playing on every menu.
- Look alike Now Playing Screen
- Now Playing large album art on main menu.
- Right-aligning of titlebar icons in Now Playing.
- Better font for Now Playing.
- Completion of 6G look alike images.
- Coverflow. (Doubtful)
- Album Art in more menus.
- Clock in menus for when no song playing.
- Background is split for Now playing Large album art screen.
- Weird secondary options font for settings, about, etc...
- Clock menu still really pressed together.
- Music Quiz songs missing. (Progress bar and score still present).
- Titlebar text missing from Brick and Parachute games.
- Contacts menu is nearly off top of screen.
- Calendar has same problem as Contacts menu.
- Stopwatch and Screen Lock titlebar text looks terrible.
- Titlebar text on the Charging screen is in the middle of the screen, not in the titlebar.
